Learn from Swallows

Swallows: Here his wife is injured and the condition is fatal. She was hit by a car as she swooped low across the road.

Here he brought her food and attended to her with love and compassion.

He brought her food again but was shocked to find her dead. He tried to move her....a rarely-seen effort for swallows!

Aware that his sweetheart is dead and will never come back to him again, he cries with adoring love.

He stood beside her, saddened of her death.

Finally aware that she would never return to him, he stood beside her body with sadness and sorrow.

Millions of people cried after watching this picture in America and Europe and even in India . It is said that the photographer sold these pictures for a nominal fee to the most famous newspaper in France . All copies of that newspaper were sold out on the day these pictures were published. And many people think animals don't have a brain or feelings?????

Surah Al Maai'dah

HE ATE MY COOKIES?

This is really interesting and it embeded few learnings also which i want to share with you friends.Imagine you are at an Airport. While you're waiting for your flight, you notice a kiosk selling cookies.

You buy a box, put them in your traveling bag and then you patiently search for an available seat so you can sit down and enjoy your cookies. Finally, you find a seat next to a gentleman. You reach down into your traveling bag and pull out your box of cookies. As you do so, you notice that the gentleman starts watching you intensely.

He stares as you open the box and his eyes follow your hand as you pick up the cookie and bring it to your mouth. Just then he reaches over and takes one of your cookies from the box, and eats it! You're more than a little surprised at this. Actually, you're at a loss for words. Not only does he take one cookie, but also he alternates with you. For every one cookie you take, he takes one.

Now, what's your immediate impression of this guy? Crazy? Greedy? He’s got some nerve? Can you imagine the words you might use to describe this man to your associates back at the office? Meanwhile, you both continue eating the cookies until there's just one left. To your surprise, the man reaches over and takes it. But then he does something unexpected. He breaks it in half, and gives half to you. After he's finished with his half he gets up, and without a word, he leaves.

You think to yourself, "Did this really happen?" You're left sitting there dumbfounded and still hungry. So you go back to the kiosk and buy another box of cookies. You then return to your seat and begin opening your new box of cookies when you glance down into your traveling bag. Sitting there in your bag is your original box of cookies - still unopened.

Only then do you realize that when you reached down earlier, you had reached into the other man's bag, and grabbed his box of cookies by mistake. Now what do you think of the man? Generous? Tolerant? You've just experienced a profound paradigm shift.

You're seeing things from a new point of view. Is it time to change your point of view?

Moral: Many a times, we are clouded by our own instincts and predispositions. These hamper our relationship with our peers, subordinates and superiors. Try to be non-judgmental and look beyond the obvious.

THE BLIND BOY

A blind boy sat on the steps of a building with a hat by his feet. He held up a sign which said: "I am blind, please help." There were only a few coins in the hat.

A man was walking by. He took a few coins from his pocket and dropped them into the hat. He then took the sign, turned it around, and wrote some words. He put the sign back so that everyone who walked by would see the new words.

Soon the hat began to fill up. A lot more people were giving money to the blind boy. That afternoon the man who had changed the sign came to see how things were. The boy recognized his footsteps and asked, "Were u the one who changed my sign this morning? What did u write?"The man said, "I only wrote the truth.

I said what u said but in a different way."What he had written was:"Today is a beautiful day & I cannot see it."Do u think the first sign & the second sign were saying the same thing? Of course both signs told people the boy was blind. But the first sign simply said the boy was blind.

The second sign told people they were so lucky that they were not blind. Should we be surprised that the second sign was more effective?

Moral of the Story:Be thankful for what you have.

Be creative. Be innovative. Think differently and positively. Invite the people towards good with wisdom.

Is Honesty The Best Policy?

By:Dorothy M. Neddermeyer, PhD

Nearly everyone agrees, Honesty is the best policy. Yet, when push comes to shove, many people tell a little white lie to avoid hurting someone's feelings, or facing oneself. This article discusses the rationale of little white lies, and if - when a white lie is acceptable.

No matter how insignificant you might think a ‘little white lie’ (dishonesty) has on the relationship, the energy of a ‘little white lie’ looms between you and the other person. You might argue that 'little white lies' (untruths) are harmless.
However, they are like small cracks that weaken the overall structure in the long term. Even giving someone a false compliment or ostensibly protecting someone can create problems later when the alternate reality you created becomes the basis for further interactions. Even though all future actions may be honest, the underlying unstable foundation of a ‘little white lie,’ (dishonesty) will threaten to derail an otherwise good relationship. This then leads to further energy being spent on keeping things hidden, working to remember the ‘little white lies’ you have told and fearing the consequences of being found out. Your relationships then becomes a tiring and draining experience.
Speaking and living your truth, involves risking, and among other things, the possibility of rejection. However, when you allow yourself to follow the honest flow of life, you are supported by the universal law of cause and effect. You can then use your energy to cultivate physical, emotional and spiritual well-being and to create your dreams, rather than leaving yourself vulnerable to being drained and overwhelmed with keeping the web of dishonest puzzle pieces coherent.

When you speak the truth, you affirm what already is. Speaking your truth is analogous to using a paddle when the stream is already moving the same direction. You are already supported by the universe and its energy flow, so you do not need to exert extraordinary energy, thus leaving more energy for other pursuits. Energetically, dishonesty redirects your energy against the flow, which requires extra effort. In addition, dishonesty creates an alternate reality that requires further energetic attention to be maintained.

Thus, you can readily see that you are best served when you work with the flow of the universe. You can make the choice to be free of the burden of dishonesty at any time. Today is the first day of the rest of your life--Begin today to choice honesty in every interaction, bringing the nurturing power of the universe’s energy into your life brings lasting positive results.

When Grandmother Becomes Mom

At age 58 I became a fulltime mother again. As a mother of four and grandmother of seven, I have experienced many parenting challenges. None, however, compare to losing my oldest daughter after years of drug addiction, and in the aftermath, raising her nine-year old child (now 11)-my grandson Colby.

My daughter Ann was a bright, intelligent, beautiful, multi-talented girl with an infectious personality that endeared her to all who knew her. But the substance abuse changed her into a very unlikable person. During the more than 20 years Ann used drugs, she was in in-patient treatment four times, tried several outpatient programs, twice attempted suicide, and was in jail four times-the last time for four months prior to her death. She was hospitalized numerous times. She was on so many prescription drugs for legitimate ailments, and because so many physicians continued to prescribe the drugs, it was impossible to keep track of what she was taking. Her drug of choice prior to her death was methamphetamine.
